.....In the small town of Kennebunkport, Maine a group of women surfers began shaping their own boards that were designed specifically for women. We wanted to create boards that were easy to turn but still stable, boards that we could actually carry down to the beach under our arm, and lastly boards that were in-tune with a woman's body. On that magical day, Wahine Kai Surfboards was born.
Wahine Kai is Hawaiian for women of the sea which is what we are.
