We also do custom fins.Artisan Surfboards is a Jerry Ingham and David Falkenau partnership with a combined 54 years experience in the industry. Jerry has done it all - shaped, glassed, sanded, set fins, foiled, glossed, designed, etc. He has worked with and for Dick Brewer and Donald Takayama, as well as helping Joel Tudor out with his custom shapes, to name a few. He has been around since the cut-down of the longboard era into the shortboard revolution. His craftsmanship covers the whole gammut of the surfboard realm. Jerry is definitely an artisan and master craftsman. Dave has been designing surfboards and fins since the 80\\\\\\\'s. He has been shaping boards for himself and a handful of close friends, and has taken on the craft of making hollow wood surfboards and custom fins. Everything Dave has learned about shaping and building hollow wood boards and chambered wood boards was taught to him by Paul Jensen of Paul Jensen Surfboards, Washington; Roy Stewart from New Zealand; Jack Young; Steve Murray; Jim Phillips; Mike and Rich at Grain Surfboards, Maine; Steve Shaw; James Kinstle; Topper Driggs; John Carper; Ryan Gerard; Tom Wegener; Mike Diffenderfer; close friend Skip Frye; and of course all the guys on Swaylocks.
